What did you want to be when you grew up?
Sean really wanted to be a policeman, so you better behave at the hotel, he is watching you!
Mandy always wanted to be a chef and that is evident in the wonderful breakfasts she whips up every day. Be sure to order yours by 7pm night prior.
What do you love about your current job?
We absolutely love running the Dalby Fairway Motor Inn and meeting all the people who come through our doors. We love hearing the amazing stories about your travels and helping you plan the next steps in your adventures.
What is your favourite thing to do in Dalby?
If you ever see Sean with a fishing rod in one hand and bait box in the other, you know to follow him. He knows all the best places to go to catch dinner.
Mandy, on the other hand loves browsing the local markets and snagging a bargain.
Which word or phrase do you overuse?
You can tell these two are from a country town and all about genuine country hospitality because Sean uses the world mate in just about every sentence and Mandy will always sign off with a thanks love.
What are you most proud of?
Sean and Mandy are most proud of their two beautiful children and of course the motel.
What is inspiring you nowadays?
I know Sean and Mandy love running the Dalby Fairway Motor Inn, but they love nothing better than getting away from it all and camping. The feel of the fresh air on their faces, the sand and dirt between their toes, the Milky Way up above. It all gives them time to unwind, relax and dream up new ways really take care of their guests.
If you could go anywhere / be anywhere in the world, where would you be right now?
Who can argue with this: beach camping on the worlds largest sand island, Fraser Island or relaxing in one of those amazing over water villas in the Maldives. Difficult choice. See, they said they love the feel of the sand between their toes!

What do you like to do when you aren’t looking after guests?
Sean can be found packing the 4wd and heading bush with his fishing road and bait or watching the NRL “GO Tigers”. Mandy will be ignoring Sean as he yells at the TV whilst watching the NRL and making cards.
